HOW TO APPLY FOR ADMISSION
It鈥檚 easy. Just follow these steps.

2. Have your official high school transcript or GED transcript sent to us.
Transfer students must also have official transcripts sent from all previously attended postsecondary institutions.
**HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS: Please wait to request your transcript until after you have graduated. Any transcript received from your high school without a graduation or diploma date printed on it will not be accepted as official.

**Do NOT forward electronic transcripts. Paper transcripts must be received in the unopened, sealed envelopes that they came in from the issuing institution. Forwarded transcripts or transcripts received in opened envelopes cannot be accepted as official and do not meet admissions requirements.
3. Apply for Financial Aid.
4. Complete the immunization form.

Form must be printed before signing.
5. Due to ongoing concerns related to COVID-19, the Accuplacer placement is not required. Please provide us with your high school GPA, or prior placement test results from another college or provide your ACT, SAT, or MCA test scores.
6. Meet with your advisor and register for classes!
7. Watch for your email invite to complete the New Student Orientation.
Create StarID.
- You will be asked for some contact info and then you will create a password. Be sure you are following the listed complexity requirements.
- Select Get my StarID.
- You will receive an email that contains your StarID. Make note of your StarID 鈥 it is your username for many of 麻豆社区鈥檚 online services.
- Already have a StarID?
- If you鈥檝e attended a Minnesota State college or university (or 麻豆社区) before, select Login.
- If you don鈥檛 remember your StarID or password, select Need Login Help? and follow the link to to reset your password.
- Call the MN IT Help Desk at (877) 466-6728 if you need further assistance.
- Applied to 麻豆社区 before?
- You will need to fill out a new application if it’s been more than one year since you last applied to or attended 麻豆社区.
- Log in and select Apply to Another Institution at the bottom of the application status page.
Complete the application fully and accurately.
- Only fields marked with a red star/asterisk are required.
- Add a permanent address 鈥 this is where you receive mail.
- High school GPA is required. If you don鈥檛 know yours, put 鈥0鈥 and it鈥檒l be updated once your transcripts are received.
- Review carefully – changes to submitted applications can only be made by the admissions office.
Track your application status.
- Once you submit your application you will be brought to a page showing the status of your application. You should receive an acceptance letter in the mail within a couple weeks!
- To return to the application status page later, go to
fdltcc.edu/apply > Apply for Admission Online > Login.
